Max is a young male pom chi, around 1 1/2 years old and weighing about 8 pounds, surrendered by owner since they "didn't have time anymore". He prefers to be the only dog since he is used to being the only dog in his original home. Max is a loving dog once he trusts you, however, this is not evident when you first meet him since he needs to warm up and trust you. Once he is comfortable, he will be a loving lap dog. He needs someone with patience. He likes to cuddle in his blanket and lay on his pillow like a king. He is a quiet little dog who just wants love but will need someone with patience and understanding. He does not like men because evidently he was terribly abused by a man.
